Due to ongoing security concerns and the misuse of video recordings, in violation of Utah Admin Code R671-302-5 (e) and (f), beginning March 17, 2025, the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole live hearing broadcasts will be audio-only.
You can use the links below to listen to a live hearing broadcast. When you join, your microphone and video camera will be disabled.
The live broadcast provides the public access to listen to hearings without needing to travel to one of Utah’s prison sites.
If you have any questions regarding which link to use to listen to a hearing, you can check the Search Hearing & Decision link. This will indicate whether the hearing is scheduled on the Salt Lake or Gunnison hearing calendar and provide a list of those individuals who are scheduled on each calendar. The Utah Board of Pardons and Parole welcomes public observation of its hearings, fostering transparency in the parole process.
- Hearings conducted at the Utah State Correctional Facility are open to the public, allowing individuals to witness proceedings firsthand. Please review the official Utah State Correctional Facility entry policy before your visit. You can find it at State of Utah - Department of Corrections Manual FD04 - Visiting.
- Hearings involving incarcerated individuals located at the Central Utah Correctional Facility or within a county jail will be conducted entirely online. This format ensures accessibility while maintaining security and logistical efficiency for those hearings held remotely.
